About Me:
During her Bachelors’ Degree, Sara performed in the Pocono Mountain area and between bachelors’ and masters’ degrees, Sara performed in Atlantic City, N.J. in a cocktail lounge.  In Ventura County Opera Society of California, she frequently was the soprano lead in operatic scenes during her full time school district teaching days.  This brought her to Hollywood where she was a soprano for the Greg Smith Singers who performed at Hollywood Bowl and for Columbia Records, a resident of the “Studio Club” for women performers, a singer in cocktail lounges, and an extra in movies.  Next full time employment was as voice instructor at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, where she met her jazz musician husband.  They performed together and moved according to his employment as a computer analyst and jazz musician.  After they had a school of music in Fredericksburg, VA.,  Sara’s singing and speech therapy for vocal nodules/chronic hoarseness/vocal cord paralysis became well known in the Kansas City, MO. area.  Her book, Exercise Your Voice to Health, published by Speech Bin Inc. was used for 14 years by speech-language pathologists for vocal nodules/chronic hoarseness/vocal cord paralysis.  Sara has been a university adjunct instructor of public speaking for 24 years, a nationally certified speech-language pathologist licensed/working in Missouri, Kansas, Georgia, and Florida for 26 years, and recently semi-retired to St. Petersburg, FL. from Atlanta, GA. where she had her part time business in voice repair, teaching singing, and  accent reduction. Currently, she spends as much play time with grandsons in Florida and in Georgia.   Current project is her film on Anti-aging the speaking and singing voice for those 46 years old and older.
