The City of St. Pete Beach honored Eileen and Bob Mattioli as Grand Marshall's of the Christmas Parade in commemoration of their 51 years of devoted teaching in the community.

2008 Mattioli/Noble Recognition Award Winner

Rhonda was awarded the 2008 Mattioli/Noble Recognition Award at the July Recital at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Her Vocal achievements lead her to being chosen for this award.

This award is given annually in honor of the late Ruby Noble, Eileen Mattioli's teacher, who gave Eileen the opportunity to begin teaching music in 1956. It is presented to the highest achieving student of the year. This is a monetary award as well as a wall plaque. Rhonda's name has been added to the studio wall plaque that list all previous honorees.

Rhonda is studying voice under Carolyn McGovern. Rhonda is a retired business executive who has been a vocal student at Mattioli School of Music for six years. Shie is also a member of the Island Notes Chorus and the St. Petersburg College Concert Chorus which will be performing with the Tampa Bay Symphony this fall.
