- Mrs. Mattioli goes backstage with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts
- (Tampa, FL July 13, 2011) Mrs. Mattioli was fortunate to go backstage to meet Joan Jett in July. Joan Jett & The Blackhearts were in concert at the HardRock Hotel and Casino.
Many years ago, Eileen had a student named Sean Koos, who took lessons from her and later went on to play in Joan's band. She is very proud of Sean's accomplishments and continues to say hard work and practice will pay off. It did for Sean. Mrs. Mattioli continues to hear from Sean on occasion and to this day he credits her for keeping him focused on music.
