Latoya is a lifelong resident of Pinellas County and a product of the Pinellas County School system. Latoya graduated in 1998 from Northeast High School.
After graduation she attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland earning a Bachelor of Music Education degree (piano) in 2003. She went on to attend the University of South Florida in Tampa for graduate school earning a Master of Music Education degree in 2006.
In 2003, she began teaching at Kings Highway Elementary in Clearwater. Currently, she is the choral director full time at Meadowlawn Middle School and for one period at Northeast High School. When not at Meadowlawn, she enjoys doing musical theater. You might find her on the stage either singing or playing at the St. Petersburg City Theater where she is currently the 1st Vice President of the theater. Latoya directs many shows as well and has won numerous acting awards for her performances.
Mattioli School of Music is very proud of Latoya's accomplishments. She was a long time student of ours. She began taking piano lessons at 7 years old from Mrs. Mattioli.
